The short:

Graduated, finally. BA in Creative Writing with a Minor in Soc.

Promoted, as of last month, to supervisor of my department.

Got a boyfriend.

The long:

I had my graduation ceremony back in May, but got notice in June that I was missing a credit for my minor and had to jump through some hoops to get into a summer course that allowed me to officially graduate in August. At least it's all over and one with now. Currently kicking around two different novels.

The promotion was a bit of a surprise, since I haven't even been there a year yet, and despite all the extra paperwork, I really enjoy it. Most importantly I like having access to health insurance, something I haven't had in going on four years now.

The boyfriend was even more of a surprise. An acquaintance of a coworker I've become close to, he and his sister were here on vacation from England, and we just hit it off. Decided two months ago to give the long distance thing a go and it's gone ridiculously well. I plan to visit him next spring.
